Investment in healthcare has increased significantly in the past few years and remains a priority for governments around the world. We are seeing a rapid growth to follow the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model for future projects.
The NHS has been at the forefront of developments in the PFI and PPP sector for many years. This programme is designed to provide guidance and international best practices to private companies, individuals and public health authorities in delivering healthcare projects.
One of the key challenges for many participants is to work through the procurement processes and reach a rapid financial close with the minimum of fuss. The programme will discuss all the factors that should be taken into account when deciding the best procurement process and how to learn from past mistakes. The case studies will draw upon delivering PPP financed healthcare projects from around the world.
